أكد المستشار أحمد جلال إبراهيم نائب رئيس الزمالك أن النادي هو صاحب الفضل على رموزه وأنه من الطبيعي مساندة لاعبي الفريق السابق للنادي.

وقال أحمد جلال إبراهيم: “جزء من كيان نادي الزمالك هم رموزه، نادي الزمالك صاحب الفضل على الجميع”.

وأكمل: “المسألة ليست مباراة أو لاعب، المسألة كرامة نادي الزمالك، ويجب أن يعلم الجميع من هو نادي الزمالك لو تناسوا من هو نادي الزمالك”.

Southee had removed Tillakaratne Dilshan and Kumar Sangakkara on the second evening, and he dismissed Angelo Mathews and Tharanga Paranavitana the next day, claiming figures of 4 for 51.Southee said left-arm seamer Trent Boult had been especially helpful to his success in Sri Lanka. The bowlers not only complement each other by testing batsmen against different angles of attack, but also specialise in swinging the ball in opposite directions. Southee largely takes the ball away from the right-hand batsmen, while Boult moves it in.”Trent Boult has got a massive role to play in the wickets I’ve taken,” Southee said. “He’s helping out by putting pressure at the other end and I am sure his turn to take wickets is just around the corner. New Zealand will begin the day with a ball that is only 4.2 overs old.”Massive hour tomorrow morning, if we can pick up a couple of wickets and run through them then who knows,” Southee said. “It’s definitely a new-ball wicket, and if you can grab a couple with the new ball, then it makes it easier to make inroads into the batting line-up. It’s not as easy when the ball gets older, and that can affect the team.”Southee said New Zealand weren’t displeased with their day’s work, given the number of good batsmen in Sri Lanka’s ranks. “It’s a tough batting line-up and there are some world class players here who have scored a lot of runs. They keep coming one after another and it just shows their great batting depth is. It would have been nice to have a couple of more [wickets] today to really get into their tail. Hopefully in the second innings, the spinners come to play.”

Misbah-ul-Haq has raised concerns over Pakistan’s batting woes as the team lost its last six wickets for 38 runs during the first ODI against Australia in Sharjah. Pakistan played seven batsmen followed by allrounder Shahid Afridi at No. 8 but a late collapse during the second batting Powerplay dashed Pakistan’s hopes of achieving 230 on a sluggish pitch.”Our lower order is not contributing,” Misbah said. “Had anyone scored 30-40 in the lower order we would have scored much more. We are losing matches because we are not scoring runs in the lower order and that is why we had Shahid [Afridi] and Kamran.”Kamran, who made a comeback to the side after more than a year, scored four off 14 balls while Afridi edged his first ball to the slips. Afridi has been in poor form in ODIs recently – 0, 9, 0, 17 and 0* being his last five scores.”We have experienced players in the lower order,” Misbah said. “The only need is to bat the full 50 overs, because if we score 230-240, our bowling is so good that we can defend that.””We struggled in our batting against England and then in Sri Lanka, and that is why we played seven batsmen but we couldn’t score much,” Misbah said after the match. “We were sure about the target today but we lost the way. We committed mistakes, mistakes we have been repeating in the last two or three series but we can’t win matches if we continue to do that.”Misbah conceded that Pakistan were 30 runs short of a competitive total. – Nunca lidei com isso na minha carreira, falo que se eu tiver duas ou três chances no jogo, vou fazer uma, pode ter certeza. Não tenho essa pressão comigo. Vou perder gol, normal de centroavante, mas vou estar sempre fazendo, sou o artilheiro da equipe no campeonato e estou tranquilo quanto a isso – afirmou.

O Botafogo de Kieza volta a campo no sábado, quando visita o Atlético-PR às 21h (de Brasília), pela 31ª rodada do Brasileiro, na Arena da Baixada.

Ishant Sharma, the India fast bowler who underwent ankle surgery in March, has said he needs another two to three months to achieve match-fitness.”I am feeling strong and good again, and have even started to bowl four-over spells,” Ishant told the news channel . “However, it will be difficult to get fully fit in time for next month’s tour to Sri Lanka. Intensity of bowling and fitness has to increase gradually, and I would also need some match practice to check myself. I think I will take two or three months more to regain match fitness.” India play New Zealand at home in late August before taking on England in October.Ishant missed the fifth season of the IPL due to the surgery, which he opted for upon returning to India after playing the Test series in Australia. When asked about the timing of his surgery, Ishant said: “I had to look at the long term rather than short term, and I knew surgery was the best option if I had to play for a long time. The key was to be fit in time for the new season and my rehab is progressing well. I am going back to the NCA (National Cricket Academy) next week.”Ishant said he was keen to play some domestic cricket prior to making it back to the national side. “It was only after 30 Tests that I came to know about my exact fitness levels and my bowling, its strength and weaknesses.”Fast bowling is 70% fitness and the rest is skill. Earlier when I used to bowl after a long gap, the legs always felt a bit of pain. But this is not happening post surgery. I want to prove myself in domestic cricket before returning to the Indian team. He impressed in patches on the tour of Australia but was inconsistent, finishing with just five wickets at an average of 90.20 in the four-Test series. “I think I bowled well in the Tests against England and was unlucky to get injured thereafter, thus missing a chance to cement my place in the ODI team. My form against West Indies at home was also good, but somehow could not carry it to Australia.”
