O Cruzeiro rescindiu o contrato com o zagueiro equatoriano Kunty Caicedo. A informação foi noticiada pela rádio Itatiaia e confirmada pelo LANCE!. A rescisão aconteceu na noite da última terça-feira. O atleta estava emprestado ao Barcelona do Equador e voltou a Belo Horizonte para resolver sua situação com a Raposa.

O contrato de Caicedo era vigente até 2021, mas o clube preferiu liberá-lo, sem demonstrar interesse em manter vínculos com o jogador. O zagueiro chegou ao Cruzeiro em 2016, na administração de Gilvan Pinho Tavares. O clube havia se comprometido a pagar uma quantia de 1,6 milhão de dólares, por 60% de seus direitos econômicos. O valor, no entanto, não foi completamente pago, e o Independiente Del Valle acionou a Raposa na FIFA, cobrando US$ 3,33 milhões (R$ 10,8 milhões).

Caicedo atuou apenas em 24 partidas pela equipe celeste. Nesses jogos, o zagueiro acumulou quatro cartões amarelos e nenhum gol. Na vida pessoal, o atleta viveu um drama familiar. Com a mãe doente, teve a transferência facilitada pelo Cruzeiro para Guayaquil, para que pudesse acompanhar de perto o tratamento da mãe. Em maio deste ano, Carmen Medina, mãe do jogador, morreu.

– O Bahia tem uma grande equipe, mas estaremos em casa, diante do nosso torcedor, e temos que buscar a vitória para reiniciarmos bem o Campeonato Brasileiro. Precisamos ter intensidade máxima do início ao fim do jogo para sairmos com os três pontos, que seriam importantes para a equipe visando a sequência da competição – afirmou.

Para Júnior Santos, o período da intertemporada foi muito bom para todos no elenco. As atividades realizadas foram bem intensas.

– Fizemos um trabalho muito forte nesta inter-temporada e estamos confiantes no que podemos realizar neste segundo semestre. Foi muito importante para todos essas últimas semanas. Aproveitamos bem este tempo sem jogos para evoluirmos – concluiu.

أعلنت لجنة التحكيم في كرة القدم الإنجليزية، أن الحكم لي ماسون سيرحل عن منصبه، ولن يكون مسؤولًا عن أي مباراة في الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز بعد الآن.

وكان لي ماسون مثار للأحاديث في الأيام القليلة الماضية بسبب الخطأ الفادح الذي وقع فيه خلال مباراة آرسنال وبرينتفورد، في بطولة الدوري الإنجليزي يوم السبت الماضي.

وتعادل الفريقان بهدف لمثله، وسمحت تقنية الفيديو باحتساب هدف تعادل برينتفورد الذي سجله إيفان توني رغم وجود حالة تسلل على زميله كريستيان نورجارد.

واتضح فيما بعد أن لي ماسون، حكم تقنية الفيديو المسؤول في تلك المباراة، قد تناسى وضع خطوط التسلل عند تحليل هدف إيفان توني، لتقدم لجنة التحكيم اعتذارها فيما حدث.

ووفقًا لبيان رسمي، فإن لي ماسون لم يعد جزءًا من لجنة التحكيم الإنجليزية، ومن ثم لن يكون مسؤولًا عن أي مباراة في الدوري الإنجليزي بعد الآن.

وأوضحت اللجنة في بيانها أن لي ماسون سيرحل عن منصبه بعد التوصل إلى اتفاق مع المسؤولين، بالتراضي.

وتجدر الإشارة إلى أن لي ماسون كان حكمًا في الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز، على مدار 15 عامًا، وأشرف على 287 مباراة في البطولة خلال تلك الفترة.

ولم يعد لي ماسون حكم ساحة بعد موسم 2020/21، ليصبح مسؤولًا عن تقنية الفيديو بعد ذلك.

طالب خالد الغندور لاعب الزمالك الأسبق ومقدم البرامج الرياضية عبر فضائية ناديه، بتعاقد القلعة البيضاء مع صفقتين جديدتين.

وأوضح الغندور أنه لن يرضى جمهور نادي الزمالك، إلا بضم لاعبين من العيار الثقيل خلال فترة الانتقالات الشتوية الجارية، خاصًة بعد تعاقد الأهلي مع أحمد قندوسي واقتراب رحيل إمام عاشور.

Mushfiqur Rahim, who sealed Bangladesh’s victory over West Indies on Tuesday with a six over midwicket, said it was a calculated shot he played to finish the game.”I was targeting the smaller side of the ground, and I was confident that even a mis-hit could travel for six,” he said.During Bangladesh’s recent tour of Zimbabwe, Mushfiqur was in a similar position in the third ODI. Bangladesh needed eight to win off the last over with one wicket in hand, and Mushfiqur, batting on 99, hit a couple of the first ball and holed out off the next attempting a six. Here, he said, he was not worried about repeating the mistake.”In Harare, as we only had one wicket left, I knew that even if I took a single we would have lost the match; in other words it was all left up to me. Here, since we had three wickets left, I knew that even if I mis-hit the shot and we ran one or two there would still be a chance to win.”The match was Mushfiqur’s first as captain of Bangladesh and he was glad everything went to plan. “Everyone wants the first match [of their stint in charge] to be memorable, and I couldn’t have asked for more. We won the toss, it was the plan to bowl first because dew might have been a factor and our bowling is spin-reliant. We saved 10-12 runs in the field and made a concerted effort to restrict them as much as possible.”With Bangladesh 93 for 6 in the 16th over, chasing 133, West Indies appeared to have the edge, but Mushfiqur found an able partner in debutant Nasir Hossain. At that point, Mushfiqur said, he was looking to play out 20 overs. “I believed that if Nasir and I stayed till the last over, even if we needed 10 or 15 runs [in the 20th], we would win.”We got some runs in the second-last over [14 off Carlos Brathwaite], which was a bonus for us. In the last over, I had the confidence that if I got the ball in my zone then I could hit it for a four or six. Fortunately, that is what happened.”The Bangladesh bowlers did well to restrict West Indies, he said. “I think we bowled fantastically well to restrict West Indies to 132. It was not a difficult total [to chase]. Rubel [Hossain] got hit for two sixes, but these things can happen in the Powerplays. What I liked was how he responded to the responsibility placed on him and came back well.”Darren Sammy, West Indies’ captain, said his side had made too many errors. “We could have scored more runs, and we could have stopped more balls in the field,” Sammy said. “In the end we made more mistakes than they did.”We knew it was going to be an interesting series. Compared to the riches that his top-order colleagues have been producing in recent months, Andrew Strauss has been in a distinctly fallow run of form. He endured a grim start to the international season, with 27 runs in four innings against Sri Lanka, and though he improved on that in the first two Tests against India, his twin top scores of 32 spoke of a peculiar failure to build on his starts. Today, he set about righting a few wrongs with his first half-century since Sydney in January, and his first on home soil since last year’s Edgbaston Test against Pakistan.
