ووقعت مشادة عنيفة بين ساديو ماني وليروي ساني، بعد مباراة الثلاثاء الماضي، حيث لكم السنغالي زميله، وتسبب في نزيف شفاهه، مما أدى إلى تعرضه لعقوبة وغرامة.

وأردف: “ساديو سيكون جزءًا من الفريق لأننا قمنا بإنهاء الأمر، علينا انتظار ما إذا كان سيبدأ في مباراة الغد”.

واستكمل: “علينا أن نمضي خطوة بخطوة، نريد التقدم في الشوط الأول، وبعد ذلك يمكن أن يحدث أي شيء، يتعلق الأمر بالإيمان، في نفس الوقت الإيمان ليس الحلم، نحن مسؤولون عن أدائنا وخلق الحماس بين الجماهير”.

وأكد: “نحن في حاجة إلى معجزة، ستكون كذلك في الواقع، يجب أن تكون واقعيًا، لا أعرف ما إذا كان الحديث عن نتيجة 4-0 واقعيًا، ولكن نحن نؤمن بأنفسنا، إذا حانت اللحظة إذا حالفنا الحظ الذي لم يكن لدينا في مباراة الذهاب ، فكل شيء ممكن”.

وأوضح: “إنه جبل ضخم يجب أن نتسلقه ولهذا السبب نحن بحاجة إلى الإيمان بأنفسنا ولكننا لا نريد أن نكون حالمين، الحلم بالنسبة لي هو دائمًا قريب من النوم وإذا كنت لا تستطيع أن تفعل شيئًا واحدًا فلا يمكنك النوم لمدة ثانية واحدة”.

واختتم: “نحن بحاجة إلى الإيمان والاعتقاد يعني أن لدينا ما في أيدينا لتحقيق الأشياء، نحن بحاجة إلى تحقيق ذلك من خلال روح الفريق والأداء والطاقة”.

Pakistan played seven batsmen followed by allrounder Shahid Afridi at No. 8 but a late collapse during the second batting Powerplay dashed Pakistan’s hopes of achieving 230 on a sluggish pitch.”Our lower order is not contributing,” Misbah said. “Had anyone scored 30-40 in the lower order we would have scored much more. We are losing matches because we are not scoring runs in the lower order and that is why we had Shahid [Afridi] and Kamran.”Kamran, who made a comeback to the side after more than a year, scored four off 14 balls while Afridi edged his first ball to the slips. Afridi has been in poor form in ODIs recently – 0, 9, 0, 17 and 0* being his last five scores.”We have experienced players in the lower order,” Misbah said. “The only need is to bat the full 50 overs, because if we score 230-240, our bowling is so good that we can defend that.””We struggled in our batting against England and then in Sri Lanka, and that is why we played seven batsmen but we couldn’t score much,” Misbah said after the match. “We were sure about the target today but we lost the way. Ishant Sharma, the India fast bowler who underwent ankle surgery in March, has said he needs another two to three months to achieve match-fitness.”I am feeling strong and good again, and have even started to bowl four-over spells,” Ishant told the news channel . “However, it will be difficult to get fully fit in time for next month’s tour to Sri Lanka. Intensity of bowling and fitness has to increase gradually, and I would also need some match practice to check myself. I think I will take two or three months more to regain match fitness.” India play New Zealand at home in late August before taking on England in October.Ishant missed the fifth season of the IPL due to the surgery, which he opted for upon returning to India after playing the Test series in Australia. When asked about the timing of his surgery, Ishant said: “I had to look at the long term rather than short term, and I knew surgery was the best option if I had to play for a long time. The key was to be fit in time for the new season and my rehab is progressing well. I am going back to the NCA (National Cricket Academy) next week.”Ishant said he was keen to play some domestic cricket prior to making it back to the national side. “It was only after 30 Tests that I came to know about my exact fitness levels and my bowling, its strength and weaknesses.”Fast bowling is 70% fitness and the rest is skill.
